Engineering Entrance Exams in India

In India, engineering entrance exams are conducted for diploma, UG and PG programmes at three levels, that are national, state and university. Exam conducting authorities release a detailed information brochure specifying the eligibility criteria and application process for admission to various subject streams. The basic eligibility criteria for all engineering entrance exams in India are mostly the same. Students have to pay an application fee for taking these exams. Participating colleges shortlist students based on their marks through the counselling and seat allotment process.
